It’s rare that I finish a book the same day that I receive it but that was the case when I received my copy of “Throw Me to the Wolves” It was an easy read, not too long or too short but just right. I found it very refreshing to read a piece of work that seemed totally transparent especially given the subject matter. Often times men appear to hold back in order to protect their egos but this did not appear to be the case with D.M. Shields. I believe that his story has shed light on matters that are rarely discussed but definitely need to be. In addition, I believe that there is a healing in this project for anyone that has felt like they were in the midst of wolves. D. M.
