What do you achieve when you mix complimentary ingredients together? You get a product that is  perfectly blended  and that is how I would describe REDACTED presented by Kai Love and Savant Furlow. It’s like having a glass of tequila and riesling  together.  The album is a culmination of humor, romance, education and personal journey. I was able to see sides of both artists that I had not seen before and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The album opens with the funny WPRTV-Chicago which is the lead single with the accompanying video! If you have not seen the video it is HILARIOUS and instantly grabbed my attention when it was released. Kai Love followed with the uptempo cut Headphone Revolution which I interpreted as a means of escape from no so fun situations. Another gem on the album that tickled my funny bone from Savant was Queen Just In Case, I always wondered what  women carry in those HUGE purses! Mixed in with humor and statement pieces were personal offerings like Should’ve Been & Grief that will touch the listeners. Rounding the album out was one of my favorites, The Wall which deals with love and the walls we build that sometimes get in the way of new connections. This album is filled with hits and inspiration!  I highly suggest that you go out grab this project and put it on BLAST in the house or if you are in a public space grab some headphones and escape into the world of REDACTED!
